You can earn a minor though REEI to complement your major in another field. To explore this option, make an appointment with the REEI undergraduate advisor. You can discuss your goals and explore particular options for completing the minor and balancing coursework in relation to your major requirements.
The REEI minor requires at least 15 credit hours of Russian/East European area-related coursework. The REEI advisor can help you select these classes. They must include at least 3 credit hours from each of the following distributions:
- Social Science
- Literature and Culture
At least 9 credit hours in the minor must be at the 300 level or above. Note that language study hours do not count toward the minor’s required 15 credit hours. Courses must be passed with a minimum of a B average and must be area-related.
For more information about the REEI minor, including a list of approved courses, please consult the appropriate entry in the current bulletin of the College of Arts and Sciences here.
