About Lindsey Grutchfield

Lindsey Grutchfield is herself an REEI graduate, holding an M.A. in Russian and East European Studies from Indiana University as well as a B.A. in Journalism from American University. Her past endeavors include teaching English as a Peace Corps volunteer in Moldova and as a Fulbright English teaching assistant in Uralskm Kazakhstan. She also participated in the Middle East Institute's Black Sea Research Fellowship program, conducting and presenting politically relevant research on social resilience and community leadership in Moldova. She speaks advanced Russian and intermediate Romanian. When not working in and with the REE region, she enjoys hiking and various forms of fiber art.
