Irene W. Meister Fellowship for Incoming MA Student
Indiana University alumna Irene W. Meister has established the Irene W. Meister Fellowship to support the studies of an incoming graduate student enrolled in the Russian and East European Institute M.A. program.
Eligibility: Must be an incoming student in the Russian and East European M.A. program with an excellent academic record and financial need as indicated by the student’s FAFSA report. The fellowship is awarded every other year. The fellowship is renewable for an additional year for recipients who maintain satisfactory academic standing.
Award: Stipend of $22,000, a College of Arts and Sciences fee remission towards 12 hours of College of Arts and Sciences credit in both the Fall and Spring semesters as well as 6 hours of College of Arts and Sciences credit in the following summer session, and health insurance.
Application: There is no separate application for this award (i.e. the standard application to the REEI M.A. program serves as application for the fellowship).
