Gavin Robison is a 2023 graduate of Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio with a double major in History and Political Science. His area of study is Central and Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on Russian history and foreign policy. This interest was largely sparked by Gavin's senior capstone project titled Overconfident: A Comparative Analysis Between the Winter War and the Russo-Ukrainian War. At IU, he is interested in studying Russian imperialism in Central and Eastern Europe as well as Russo-American relations. Gavin also plans to study Russian at IU in order to better understand issues in the Russian speaking world. Gavin hopes to either work in government on Russian issues or obtain a PhD and teach at the university level. In his free time, Gavin enjoys reading, traveling, playing video games, and spending time with his wife and cats.
