M.A. + M.I.S.

Dual degree: REEI M.A. + M.I.S.

The M.I.S. degree in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering gives you a solid understanding of the fundamentals of information science through immersion. The REEI M.A. allows you to focus on information science in relation to Russia and Eastern Europe. This dual degree prepares you for a career in information science with a depth of focus on Russia and Eastern Europe. Careers are available in government, business, industry, higher education, non-profit organizations, in both public and private settings.

Additional requirements

  • Courses must be passed with a minimum of a B average and must be area-related.
  • Essay committee should consist of REEI and Luddy School professors.
  • At least 21 credit hours must be taken in the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Courses should be selected in consultation with the REEI Student Services Coordinator.
